Former Vice President Joe Biden confused his wife for his sister while celebrating several wins on Super Tuesday.

Biden won multiple states, including Minnesota, Oklahoma, Massachusetts and Virginia.

“By the way, this is my little sister, Valerie,” Biden said to a crowd of supporters.

As he said that, Biden motioned to the woman to his right and grabbed her hand.

“And I’m Jill’s husband,” he said while pointing to his sister.

However, Biden had confused him.

The woman on his right was Jill Biden and was not, in fact, the former vice president’s sister.

Joe Biden realized his error and said, “Oh no, this is [inaudible],” Biden said.

“You switched on me,” he added.

“This is my wife,” he said of Jill Biden.

“This is my sister,” Biden added, referring to the woman on his left.

“They switched on me,” he emphasized to the crowd following the gaffe.

Biden is known for regularly committing gaffes. Biden recently confused Iraq for Iran during a foreign policy speech.

Biden was addressing President Trump’s decision to order a drone strike that killed the Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani.

In his statement, Biden said “Iran parliament, Iran parliament, voted to eject all Americans and coalitions forces from the country.”

Biden mixed up a recent vote that was held by Iraqi lawmakers and not by Iran.

The Iraqi lawmakers voted in favor of a resolution that calls for ending foreign military presence in the country.

In another recent instance, Biden said healthcare focus is not “not quality” but “only affordable.” Speaking to the crowd on healthcare issues, Biden said the new Democratic healthcare pitch would “make sure it’s not quality.”

Biden also stated along the 2020 campaign trail that voters ought to choose “truth over facts.”
