Ellen DeGeneres has been heavily scrutinized in the media recently as more accusations from staffers and show guests come forward with claims of her not being nice, according to Fox News.
โ€œEllen is at the end of her rope,โ€ an insider told Us Weekly.
The 62-year-old daytime talk show host did not anticipate so many people coming forward and speaking out against her.
โ€œShe thought this was all just sour grapes from a few haters. But itโ€™s not a passing thing โ€” the hits just keep coming,” the source added.
Last month, members of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” came forward with allegations and complaints about the lack of communication between their boss, and didn’t know what was happening with their jobs and pay amid the pandemic.
Nikkie de Jager a transgender beauty influencer appeared on the talk show and said that Ellen was particularly “cold” and gave preferential treatment to A-list guests.
Reps for Degeneres did not respond to Fox News’ requests for comment.
Her former bodyguard came forward, recalling the time he protected DeGeneres at the 2014 Oscars.
During an interview with Fox News, Tom Majercak said the host was “sly” and “demeaning.”
In the beginning of the lockdown back in March, Degeneres received heavy backlash for saying that her Los Angeles mansion was “like being in jail.”
More from Fox News:
Brand expert Eric Schiffer previously told Fox News in an interview that reports of DeGeneres’ rude behavior is “like rat poison” to her brand. She’d attempt to save face by “surrounding herself with celebrities, puppies and babies to try to make light of things,” but even then her ratings may suffer.
Schiffer also said the host’s first mistake was failing to make a public apology.
